💙 Rest in Peace my sweet Jeter. 💔
He was born with a heart condition and lived to be 5 1/2 years old.
He had a high-quality of life, playing, eating, running around, and then last Sunday morning, after a minute or so of seizuring, he was gone.
I miss him so much.
In 5 1/2 years, we packed in so much fun. Camping trips, playtime at the beach, bonfires on the bay, crashing house parties, shredding up cardboard boxes, so much peanut butter, countless selfies, lazy Saturday naps, endless sunset walks.
In his short time here, Jeter touched so many lives, and he loved every human he came in contact with.
I count my blessings, because even though 5 1/2 is a short-lived life for a pup, he experienced no pain, I got to be right there next to him when he chose his moment to say goodbye, and I will cherish every single memory I got to have with him.
He taught me to live in the present and never take a single moment for granted, because we never knew how much time he had left.
I love you so much Jetey. Thank you for loving me and protecting me always. Thank you for finding me, when I didn’t even know you were what I wanted and needed most.
I know you are in heaven eating all the bananas and playing with all of your new furry angel friends.
If you knew Jeter and would like to, I’d love to hear your favorite memory with him below. 🐾 💙 🐾
