Ladies what does it mean to be in our masculine?⁣

🤜🏽 Does it mean we get to be busy career women? Bosses? Hardworking, driven, calling the shots, having high standards, settling for nothing less?⁣

🤜🏽 Do we call on our masculine when we want to be seen, heard and acknowledged?⁣

When we want to be powerful, ⁣
focused,⁣
assert ourselves, ⁣
beat out the competition, ⁣
win the medal,⁣
push out that last rep,⁣
and get the job done, no matter what the cost.⁣

🤜🏽 Is this the reliable output we can count on from our masculine side?⁣

Or does it look more like this? ⁣

Tired.⁣
Over caffeinated.⁣
Underappreciated⁣
Road rage.⁣
Cravings that are off the charts.⁣

🤚🏽 The philosophy “Mind over matter” isn’t working anymore, because our bodies are crying out for a break from our overscheduled lives.⁣

🤚🏽 And that diet you did 3 years ago? It’s not working anymore. You keep trying to get back on it over and over again, thinking your willpower is the problem. ⁣

✋🏽 Single – you’re going on dates, but something’s missing. You’re kind of closed off, you’re not sending out the intended vibe.⁣

✋🏽 Partnered up – your sexual desire is low and you hate feeling like you wear the pants. ⁣

Which one is a more fair representation of us being in our masculine? 🤷🏼‍♀️ ⁣

I say it can be both.⁣

Our masculine side is part of who we are just like our feminine side, and having access to both is a beautiful thing. ⁣

But if you are a professional, kick butt, hard–working woman and have been trying to lose the same 10-17 lbs. the last few years, then this next statement is 💯 for you: ⁣

✨👉🏽👉🏽👉🏽 The same mentality and ways of being that have brought you success in your professional life are DESTROYING your chances at a maintaining light, lean, healthy body. 👈🏽👈🏽👈🏽✨⁣

Don’t approach your workouts OR eating like your career. We end up burnt out, fat, inflamed, injured, low energy and cranky. ⁣

Sure, we can follow a carb–cycling protocol that some man in Iowa wrote out for us and not listen to what our wise body is actually calling out for each day. But we can all guess whether or not this will be sustainable long term. 🤦🏼‍♀️⁣

Not listening to your body and relying solely on your logical mind while trying to get it to lose weight is like servicing a client or customer at work and never listening to what it is they want. ⁣

Let’s stop the madness and start listening to our bodies. 🙌🏽 🤍⁣
