Thank you so much @drewsiv for coming by and saying hi!
Drew saw my post yesterday and came by to visit at the @landroverusa event in Venice today. He shared his incredible story with me: he said he had been following me for years and struggled with his weight due to a debilitating injury.
Through his successful recovery and by tweaking his food, water and exercise habits, he was able to lose 25 lbs. and even develop an awesome set of abs! His inspirational story, paired with the fact that…
Read MoreIt has been proven to me time and time again through my work that the magic lies in the little, not-so-noticeable things, and that the smallest changes WILL ALWAYS yield the most admirable results.
Just think about hormones. These teeny, tiny things that are an invaluable part of your system control everything from appetite to mood, to sex drive, to energy level, to hair growth, to pregnancy and the list goes on. Yet you can only see them under a high-tech microscope. So small, yet one the most powerful forces I can think of!
Time on stairclimber: 140 minutes.
No, not once in a while. I climbed 140 minutes on stairs that went nowhere, every, single, day.
What a waste of life.
Food: 5 food categories, zero deviation:
1) protein powder
2) lentils & beans
3) green vegetables
4) peanut & almond butter
5) oats & rice cakes
Total daily intake: 1130 kcal. Me: Hangry. Bored. Perma Fuzz-Brain.
…I am impatient, yes, always, I can’t help it. But I am so excited too. I love the climb. I fell in love with the process a long time ago…

So “introvert introspection” is what I bring to the cyber table today. Here we go…

Read More…Here is where a very practical law of science comes into play.
We fear that we won’t accomplish the goal. That we will fall short, put ourselves out there, make the effort, and never see the reward. This is our first fear. (Strangely enough, we don’t seem to fear the temporary reward, even though that has far more severe psychological and physical long-term repercussions.)
Our second fear is that we won’t ever do the work in the first place. Our second fear is that we are inherently lazy, and this causes us to distrust our ability to get the job done.
Ipso facto, we are fearful of our own potential for non-action…
Read More…It is what we crave from others. It is our singular reigning request from our universe. Our treatment of this truth can either create our biggest internal void or our absolute ecstasy. Because our entire perception of what we see outside of ourselves is predicated by what is already happening within us…

Read More…The doctor removed over half the disc. He said the herniation was massive, one of the biggest he had ever seen. I will never grow that disc back.
He also joked that he had placed bets with his nurses, that I would be one the 8% to re-herniate within the first 12 weeks post-op, due to my active lifestyle and profession.
Ha-ha, I thought. I was determined to prove him wrong.
Now this is the hardest part for me to tell you. I ended up not proving him wrong. I re-herniated my disc before my 12 weeks of recovery were up…
Read MoreRight now the internet has us on information overwhelm. The amount of food facts, free recipes and supplement options used to make me feel like I was drowning. One could go broke trying to keep up with each and every new detox trend and pretty food blog. But I don’t let any of that happen anymore.
The secret? Well, I’ll get to that. But first let me paint a picture for you.
Let's lay the scene…
